This set of Continuing Education Courses bring the Medical Psychologist or Hospital and Facility Psychologist updates on skills they will need to practice in Primar Care Facilities needing Integrated Care or Comprehensive Multidisciplinary services. These courses will be used by Department Head Board Certified Medical Psychologists to train their staff of clinical psychologists, and to assist allied health staff (general physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, hospital social workers, physical therapists, etc.) in the skills and knowledge that they will need to interface with the psychologist or psychiatrist in managing and treating the mentally ill and the behavioral and lifestyle aspects of many physical illnesses.
These courses require application through the Academy of Medical Psychology and are free to Academy Members, and a fee of $150 per course is charged for non-AMP members. Those passing the quiz with 75% correct or more will receive 4 hours of CE credits. You must apply for admission Dr. Jerry Morris at cmhcjerry@sbcglobal.net and obtain a password. All CE courses will have CE credits available. There is a small CE filing fee. In several courses offered in affiliation with NAPPP, NAPPP offers CE credit. NAPPP maintains responsibility for those courses and the content.
